“Affordable Housing” in Wake County is quickly becoming unaffordable. The average two-bedroom apartment is north of $1,200 a month.
Passage Home works with a group of compassionate landlords throughout Wake County to offer additional affordable housing units to our clients beyond Passage Home’s own stock. Without this cohort of caring landlords, many families would be forced into hotels, couch surfing, or homelessness–creating instability and perpetuating the cycle of trauma and poverty. Because of these caring landlords, Passage Home clients paid less than $700 a month for a two bedroom apartment in 2018.
Thank you to all those caring individuals and organizations that work side by side with Passage Home to end poverty and homelessness in Wake County.
