Passage Pantry:
Passage Pantry provides meat and food options to our clients that most food pantries don’t offer. We provide support to clients for essentials like groceries, toiletries, and other household items. Volunteers can assist with food pick-up and distribution. But why stop there, we encourage our volunteers to organize drives to collect gift cards to assist with basic needs not provided by the pantry.
Angel Tree:
This is a holiday program where donors adopt “Angels”, local children, seniors in need, to purchase new clothing and toys for Christmas. Tags on the tree list specific wish list items, allowing donors to provide personalized gifts that bring joy and reduce financial strain on families.
Mentorship:
Mentorship is crucial for accelerating personal and professional growth, while providing tailored guidance, and unlocking career opportunities by leveraging the experience of seasoned professionals. Mentors help bridge skill gaps, foster confidence, expand professional networks, often enhancing both personal and career development Volunteers can mentor individual clients or a cohort group.
Property Management:
Volunteers who have a background in construction can assist with the maintenance of our affordable housing.
Additional seasonal volunteer opportunities at Passage Home vary throughout the year. Some events and opportunities we have had in the past include Back-to-School drive, Trunk-or-Treat, and Winter Holiday drives.
